ABOUT ENERI

Something more personal ...

My name is Irene Amado. I am a girl from Madrid who  wants  share a little more of my story with you.

Intrinsic and present, but  without realizing it at the same time, music has accompanied me throughout my life. For those who do not know me, as a child I was always a quiet girl. Silent Introverted Shy. My first memory of singing was at karaoke, we were with my parents' friends and I was about 6 years old. I worked up a lot of courage to sing one alone, everyone did it as a duet or in a group. I did it for Sandy's “Hopelessly devoted to you” in the musical Grease, my bedtime musical for many years, which I knew from peapá because it was that movie that you put on a loop as a child. That was the first time I sang in front of my mother, can we say that it was my first concert? I still remember the faces they made.

Without being fully aware of what inhabited me, I continued hand in hand with music, participating in the typical school choir and the songs of the parish. I already oozed a halo  soul "old man" (as I call myself) because the  music that I listened to at that time were the music groups  Mecano and Abba, which was not very common for a girl of my age and less of my generation. Now, looking back, I understand that for some reason everything happened  well because  a few years ago, in Gran Vía, the musicals of the music of these groups were premiered, which made the theater adopt a hole in my heart.

One morning in the Salesians' music class we were preparing a celebration for the school parties. The rest of the girls in my class were embarrassed singing the solo stanza, but  I, at that moment, without even knowing how, did not shut up. Sing. At the end, the teacher asked for a round of applause for how brave I had been. And that's how I felt it too. That was the first time I sang in front of people.

The next day, not knowing  why or where was he going,  they took me out in the middle of some of the classes, ending in a  school rehearsal room being the soloist of my first electric band with  more kids from school. This day was special. I felt  that that place welcomed me and I him, being full there.

Telling stories, singing and my love for musicals, led me to continue training and preparing myself in this demanding world of work, to feel more and more full, more complete. I am a singer by flag, but I am also an actress and a dancer. I like to be in constant training whenever I can because I feel that for an artist it is very important to renew, grow and evolve.

To this day, I consider myself  a versatile artist, since I have the  capacity  to interpret works and songs of varied themes or of very different periods and styles.

I consider myself a hard-working person, with a lot of adaptability  and used to working under pressure. Also i love  work as a team, I am very  empathetic, cheerful and optimistic, but serious and committed to all the projects that come my way.

I've heard and played all kinds of music  but, as a singer, where I find my sound is in the styles of Motown, R&B, Soul, Rock, Reagge, Jazz, ElectroSwing, Dance and Pop.
